Ms. Vollenweider taught for 30 years and now is retired from the profession. Thou you can hardly say such a thing, for Ms. Vollenweider now teachers classes in her house on preserving your heritage, seven times a month. The classes last for about six hours, but you leave knowing more then you came with. Ms. Vollenweider has taken up the art of preserving one's family memories by preserving them in albums. She has developed the skill of preserving family photos in a safe and reliable manner. Ms. Vollenweider's motto is:
"Preserve the past...enrich the future"

When attempting to preserve your pictures by they old or new you must remember this one thing:
---When purchasing a product make sure it's picture safe.---

Things to avoid when purchasing a product:
Use pencil and if need be, Pigma Pen only.
Ensure that the products says:
Acid free

Things to Remember:
Today's pictures:
Do Not write on your pictures with pen, for it will bleed thru, this is so for today's pictures.
Scanned pictures last for about 35 years, when film pictures last much longer.
Magnetic pages are Not a good way to preserve one's pictures.
A safe place to store pictures is in a album.
Label your pictures with pencil on the bottom to insure no bleeding.
